01 · The job

A startup hires us to be in a room it cannot reach. You are the person in the room.

  1. Before

We study the client and the event, pull the attendee list and pick the people worth meeting. The brief reaches you the night before.

  2. At the event

You work the floor as the client's rep, or alongside the founder. You know who you are talking to before you say hello.

  3. After

Each day ends with a voice note from you. We turn your notes into the follow-ups and the Field Report.

Most engagements are one or two days. You attend as yourself and say who you represent.

02 · The long term

Long-term relationships are the key to this work.

We look for reps we can work with for years.

Reps who do well go back to the same clients and the same rooms, event after event, and the relationships they build carry from one event to the next.

03 · Our team and our tools

Our team works closely with you to prepare you for every event.

You get access to all our internal tools. You walk in prepared and leave with most of the writing done.

The brief
Your client's one sentence, the four pitches, the five questions, the people to catch and why.
The room list
Attendees pulled and enriched, the twenty people to meet, an opener for each.
The capture line
A live group. Send a badge photo or a profile link and a card comes back: who they are, why they matter, what to open with. Send a voice note and it is filed under that person.
Enrichment while you walk
Who a person is, what their company does, what they said on stage last year.
Follow-up drafts
Written in the client's name from your notes, ready before you leave the hall.
The Field Report
Assembled from your capture by our team. You check it. You do not write it from scratch.

04 · The engagements

Six kinds of engagement, in the room and around it.

  1. Room day

One day on the floor for one client: pipeline, partners or hiring.

  2. Research visit

One day in the room for the market read or product feedback. No selling.

  3. Booth and dinner

Run the client's stand or their founder dinner.

  4. Room brief

Desk work before an event: the list pulled, twenty people, openers.

  5. Quiet introductions

Introductions from your own network, made in Para's name.

  6. Shadow shift

Your first event, alongside one of us, with a written report.

Pay starts at $500 per event. Badge, travel and meals are covered, and you are paid within seven days of the client accepting the Field Report.

05 · What we ask

Six things, every time.

  1. Read the brief the night before and come with your own questions.
  2. Every conversation goes into the capture line within minutes, while it is fresh.
  3. One voice note at the end of each day: what the stage said, who was where, tomorrow's plan.
  4. Attend as yourself and say who you represent.
  5. Take no client that competes with one you already represent.
  6. The engagement is done when the client accepts the Field Report.

06 · How you join

A call, a shadow shift, then your first room alone.

  1. A short call

Which industries you have sold into, which events you already go to, where you live, when you are free.

  2. A paid shadow shift

One real event alongside one of us. You capture it like a rep and write the report. We score it against our rubric.

  3. Your first room alone

A one-day engagement for a client in your industry.

  4. Scored after every event

Meetings booked, introductions accepted, report quality. Reps who score well get the repeat rooms and the retainer clients.

07 · Who we are looking for

People who have sold into the industry they will walk into.

  • You have carried a quota, run partnerships or founded a company in a sector with a real event calendar.
  • You live near the events in your industry, anywhere in the world.
  • Clear writing matters. The record is half the job.
  • A few days a month are free: fractional already, between things, or building something of your own.
  • You like rooms.

08 · Apply

If this sounds like your kind of work, apply.

Tell us the industries you have sold into and the next three events you plan to attend anyway.

About ten minutes, with three short writing exercises.
